Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is pleased to announce the launch of our newly designed website at
rowingcanada.org. A fresh new look, intuitive design, and fully responsive platform featuring our
recently launched brand.
The goal of this new website is to provide our membership and those new
to rowing with a simple way to access information, learn more about our
sport and better connect individuals to our clubs and provinces. This
platform was also designed specifically to
highlight the beauty of the sport and promote our National and NextGen
teams in the lead up to the 2019 Lima Pan American Games and the 2020
Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Through the generous support of the Canadian Olympic Committee’s
National Sport Federation Enhancement Fund, RCA embarked on a journey to
develop a
new brand inspired by a proud nation of rowers, united by water. The
newly launched website was also developed by world-class design agency They
Integrated. New and exciting features will continue to come to life on the new platform in the coming months.
“We’ve compartmentalized the information in a way that is
considerate of different audiences – whether you are a club
administrator or want to learn to row, finding information is easier
than ever before,” said Director of Partnerships and Sport Development,
Jennifer Fitzpatrick. “The website was designed with the changing
needs of our sport in mind – with the ability to evolve digitally for
many years to come. Aesthetically, the site is incredibly more visually
appealing and we are thrilled with the outcome.”
The launch of the new emblem and website is a major milestone in
achieving one of RCA’s strategic priorities of defining a national
rowing brand and platform that reflects the best of what the sport
represents while cultivating continuous growth. These initiatives
reposition rowing in a more relatable and accessible way to the
Canadian sport community and beyond.
