The Central Alberta Rowing Club is located at the north end of Lacombe Lake which is a beautiful secluded lake 5 km south of Lacombe. We are a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote the sport of rowing in the Central Alberta region. We have a collection of competition and recreational boats, and we offer a number of rowing programs targeted at Juniors (12-18 years old), Seniors (19-26 years old ), and Master (27+). We offer a one day Try Rowing Event in June and a two day Learn to Row sessions as well. We are also adding a Refresher Rowing day for those people who have taken Learn to Row before and would like a lesson to sharpen their rowing skills. The club also runs indoor rowing training throughout the winter. We are looking to grow both our competition and recreational rowing.
