1) L1 Associate Training: This is for folks who are completely new to umpiring and have never before taken a clinic or a seminar. This is a 4-6 hour time commitment, and will be held Saturday December 2nd starting at 9 AM
3) L2 seminar: For those who are fully licensed umpires, and require an update seminar every 3 years. This requirement will become enforced next year, and if you are not up to date, you will no longer be considered fully licensed. This course is 2-3 hours and will take place Friday evening (Dec 1), starting at approximately 6:30 PM. If you cannot attend Friday evening but would like to maintain your license, please let me know and we will try to set something up for the spring before racing season begins.
4) L3 CU clinic: This clinic is for licensed, RCA umpires who would like to become chief umpires. This is an important role for hosting and organizing regattas, making it an equally important development step and I encourage all licensed umpires who are available to sign up and come out! It is a new format and will be a full 8-hour day *Because of a change in flight timing for Sandi, this course will have to be split between December 2nd-3rd, Saturday afternoon/Evening and Sunday Morning. Final timing has yet to be confirmed*
