Calgary Rowing Club Junior Program Head Coach Chris Davidson has been selected as RCA Coach of the Year due to his work leading numerous junior athletes to medals at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta and the National Rowing Championships.
Chris is a long-time Calgary coach and coaching veteran of several summer games teams for Alberta. This is a tremendous achievement and a well deserved recognition of his years spent guiding young athletes in our province and we would like to join the RCA and on behalf of the ARA say congratulations to Chris… and thank you Chris for the gazillions of hours spent on and off the water supporting our sport and the youth of this province.
Recipients will be recognized at the 2019 Excellence Awards banquet taking place Saturday January 25, 2020, at the Brookstreet Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario in conjunction with the 2020 RCA National Conference.
