Edmonton Rowing Club

The Edmonton Rowing Club is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to stimulate, advocate, and develop the sport of rowing in the Greater Edmonton Area. To achieve a vibrant, strong, dynamic rowing community we provide training programs targeted at individuals from age 14 to seniors. We work cooperatively with other organizations and are actively involved in the community. We provide programs that support the development and self-esteem of our youth, and give back to our community through various charitable events such as the Row for Kids Regatta. This regatta is a partnership event, raising money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Edmonton Rowing Club. To date, this partnership has raised over $1.4 million, with over $125 000 (in gross funds) raised in 2018.   This year, Row for Kids is being held at Telford Lake in Leduc on September 7, 2019; for more information or to register please contact the club.

We believe in providing a co-operative training atmosphere with quality coaches. We believe in providing safe, quality equipment for the use of the membership. We believe in providing a club culture that supports respect, leading to positive interpersonal relationships and group cohesiveness.
