Congratulations to Shaye De Paiva, Andrew Hubbard, Kendra Hartley and Olivia McMurray.  The four Alberta based athletes will represent Canada at the 2023 Pan-American games qualification regatta in Santiago Chile, from April 15th to 19th.  While the purpose of the regatta is to qualify boats for the Pan-American Games, the event has proven to be a valuable stepping stone for many aspiring Olympians.   In 2019 the ARA’s own Jessica Sevick utilized the experience at the Pan-American Games qualifier as the first step in her journey to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.   Congratulations to all four athletes.

Not to be outdone the ARA passes on its Congratulations to Kasia Gruchalla Wesierski for her silver medal performance at the 2023 World Indoor Erg Championships held last month in Mississauga Ontario.
